Ungricht Parker Eye Associates is seeking a full-time Optometrist to join our well-established ophthalmology and optometry practice. Our clinic has proudly served the community for many years and continues to grow through a strong reputation for patient care and physician collaboration.
This is a Monday through Friday in-clinic position with no weekends required. The provider will see and manage their own patient schedule while working closely alongside our ophthalmologists in a collaborative medical and surgical setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Comprehensive eye exams
- Medical optometry
- Contact lens evaluations and fittings
- Postoperative care
- Working closely with our ophthalmologists for cataract referrals and surgical consultations
We are looking for a motivated, patient-focused provider who values teamwork, quality care, and building long-term patient relationships within a collaborative practice environment.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure to practice as an Optometrist
- Experience or strong knowledge in ophthalmology, pediatrics, and optical care preferred
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and familiarity with medical terminology and coding
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and the use of medical equipment such as slit lamps and tonometers
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and data security
- Excellent patient care skills with a strong focus on communication and customer service
- Ability to perform detailed examinations while maintaining proper aseptic technique standards
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage medical records and documentation efficiently
