UOA PAC

The Utah Optometric Association (UOA) is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit professional organization and the only statewide association dedicated to advocating on behalf of Doctors of Optometry and their patients in Utah. While the UOA actively educates policymakers and the public on issues impacting optometry and vision care, federal law prohibits the association itself from making campaign contributions to elected officials.

The Utah Optometric Association Political Action Committee (UOA PAC) is a separate legal entity that works closely with the UOA to support candidates for state office who understand and support optometry and increased access to comprehensive vision care.

The UOA PAC is funded entirely through voluntary contributions from Utah optometrists and individuals who believe in protecting patient access to quality eye care. The PAC is nonpartisan and supports candidates based on their commitment to advancing the profession of optometry and ensuring patients have access to the full scope of care provided by Doctors of Optometry.
