OD wanted at MD Practice 7/21

We are recruiting a dedicated optometrist with strong clinical skills and patient rapport for part-time or full-time work at a satellite office in the South Jordan area of Salt Lake County, UT.  This location will have a cutting-edge diagnostic suite and facilitate treatment of medical eye care. This role allows you to see patients with a wide variety of pathology and refractive needs. Experienced ODs and New Grads welcome. The ideal candidate would be committed to delivering quality patient care, excellent patient experience, and eagerness to learn and develop their  skill set. Regular duties will include: 
• Perform comprehensive eye exams
• Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular disease
• Prescribe corrective lenses
• Provide pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients (cataract, refractive, and cornea)
• Promote healthy vision by counseling and educating patients


You must have the following: 
• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
• Valid state license to practice optometry in Utah
• Customer-service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills
