I have an immediate need for a full-time or part-time associate at Hometown Eyecare and Optical in beautiful Riverton, Wyoming. 2024 grads are also welcome to apply. This is a private practice which has been well-established in the community since 1976. I purchased the practice in 2017 and it has been steadily growing. I am looking for an OD who can help us maintain our personable, hometown feel.
 
As a practice owner I am committed to practice growth, taking care of my employees, and providing the best working environment for them. I strongly believe in being open and generous in contract negotiations and making things work for both sides. You will have the opportunity to buy into the practice as a partner within the first year of employment. You will have the freedom to set your own schedule including days you work and how frequent you see patients. Benefits will include health insurance, 401K, license fees, CE, AOA dues, and professional liability insurance. I will reimburse travel expenses for you to come and visit to make sure it is the right fit for you.
  
We practice full-scope optometry and are well-respected by the physicians in the community. We are equipped with OCT, Visual Fields, Optos, Neurolens, topographer, and automated phoropters. Ophthalmologists in Wyoming are not our competition, they are our colleagues who we refer to for necessary surgical care. Wyoming’s scope expansion bill passed in 2021 and we may be looking to add lasers to the practice soon.

Riverton doesn\'t have the wind that Wyoming is known for. We are near the Wind River Mountains which offer world-class hunting, fishing, and plenty of other outdoor recreational opportunities. Come escape the city life and discover everything Wyoming has to offer.
