Seeking Optometrists to teach


Utah Optometrists!
 
The New School of Optometry, located in Provo Utah, is now seeking Optometrists that are interested in instructing at the school. This is an opportunity to help shape the future of Optometry in the State of Utah and throughout the Country. This can be on a part time bases, teaching one class or a few if you desire. That way you can continue in your own practice and still be contributing to the education of our future Optometrists. There will be respectful compensation that will be paid for your expertise. So use this as a way to pass on your knowledge and experience while supplementing your income and being affiliated with an amazing School of Optometry. Part-time Faculty Opportunities
Part-time faculty members are provided a range of rights and privileges.
• Official appointment as a part-time faculty for RMUoHP
• Opportunity to provide feedback on the curriculum, performance of students, and to
have that feedback documented.
• Opportunity to request individual faculty development and/or information related to
their areas of teaching and expertise.
• Right to provide input on program applicants.
• Opportunity to attend programmatic faculty meetings.
• Opportunities for collaboration in research.
• Invitation to attend yearly student research presentations.
• Opportunity to serve on dissertation and capstone committees
 
Adjunct Faculty Benefits and Opportunities
Adjunct faculty members do not receive formal benefits from the University. However, they
are still provided with several other opportunities listed below:

• Access to RMUoHP Technology Resources located through Okta
• Opportunity to provide feedback on the curriculum, performance of students, and to
have that feedback documented.
