Hiring ODs for Salt Lake County and Utah County

Pay:        Up to $100 per hour (DOE)

Location:     Salt Lake County or Utah County

Position Summary: 
Responsible for providing comprehensive vision care to patients so they can care for their eyes and access tools to support their eyesight. Their duties include conducting eye inspections, identifying signs of disease or injury and prescribing corrective lenses. Training will be held at the Midvale clinic. 

Essential Functions:
- Provide high quality vision care including exams and appropriate referrals
- Prescribe corrective glasses & contact lens prescriptions
- Enter patient information into chart and/or EHR
- Work with optical staff

Qualifications/Skills/Educational Requirements:
- Doctor of Optometry
- Graduate of accredited School or College of Optometry
- License to practice Optometry in Utah
- Commitment to quality optometric patient care
- Knowledge of current Optometric theory and technology
- Strong communicator and listener
- Problem solving ability and solid organizational skills
